Hello! I’m Emilson Lúcio da Silva, a clinical psychotherapist offering online therapy to help you navigate relationships with narcissists and individuals with borderline personality traits.

Since adolescence, I have been deeply interested in understanding why some people behave in such selfish and destructive ways, while others suffer immensely in toxic relationships. This curiosity led me to study psychotherapy and, later, to dive deep into the topics of narcissism and borderline personality disorder.
I have over 12 years of experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy, with a focus on issues such as narcissism, abusive relationships, anxiety, and self-esteem. My work is grounded in a scientific and humanized approach, aiming to understand each patient as unique and singular.
Fun fact: For years, my friends called me the “emotion detective”—I was (and still am) the one who sits at the bar and ends up hearing everyone’s secrets, offering advice for free. Today, I do this professionally (and yes, I charge a fair fee—after all, psychologists have bills to pay too!).
Why do I do what I do?
I believe everyone has the right to live in healthy relationships, free from manipulation and emotional abuse. Unfortunately, many people find themselves trapped in power dynamics and a lack of empathy—especially in cases of pathological narcissism. My motivation is to support those who feel voiceless or who, in some way, have lost themselves in toxic relationships.
Key principle? Emotional freedom.
Core value? Respect for individuality and human dignity.
My mission
Empathy is the foundation of my practice. I strive to deeply understand each person’s pain, challenges, and emotions, providing a welcoming and compassionate space. By truly listening, I help clients feel seen and supported in their journey of personal growth and healing.
Professional ethics guide every aspect of my work. I prioritize respect, confidentiality, and integrity in all therapeutic interactions. Ensuring a safe and trustworthy environment allows patients to explore their emotions freely, fostering meaningful progress in their mental and emotional well-being.
I value individuality and recognize that each person is unique. That’s why I tailor my therapeutic strategies to meet the specific needs of each client. By personalizing the approach, I enhance the effectiveness of the process, promoting lasting emotional balance and personal development.
